As shown in the background of the image above I’ve been building an Rshiny app that will use your own Google Analytics data to measure the impact of an event (for the curious: Shiny Impact). If you add a Google Analytics API to the scope of your Google cloud project then you need to get expressed permission from Google. Otherwise you get the wonderful STRANGER DANGER “This app isn’t verified” message within your Google login flow.
Today I’m adding Google Analytics to an RShiny App I’m building named Shiny Impact. In doing so I noticed a new feature in Google analytics and that the instructions from RShiny here wouldn’t work and would need to be tweaked. Although a very mundane subject I figured I would use it to get used to Markdown.
